  • Dr Gallard's lecture will be a brief overview of handy tips and pointers on both diagnoses and treatments for common dermatological problems to help you manage dermatological problems more effectively in primary care before triggering a secondary care referral.
  • Second part of the talk will be about the skin manifestations seen in COVID infection, as well as an overview of the skin care guidelines for clinicians produced by the BAD/BCAS to help healthcare workers look after themselves.

Dr Stephanie Gallard qualified as a pharmacist in 1991, a doctor in 1996, a GP in 2003, and after several years as a salaried GP moved into medical management in 2008.
She has worked in the Liverpool Dermatology Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service since its inception in 2007 as a GPSI for the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospital Trust. She is an enthusiastic educator on dermatology in primary care to all clinicians, and lectures extensively for various organisations, including the RCGP and the PCDS.”
